“Seek and you will find” has to be one of the most hammered to death sayings trotted out by people the world around. Well that’s great. I need another bit of ethereal advice like I need my finger nails pulled out. So what does it mean? This is what it means to me… Seeking, by definition, [...] I climbed into bed this evening and for some strange reason began thinking about a hymn Elvis Presley sang in the late 1960’s entitled “How Great Thou Art” (originally written by Carl Boberg); it was on one of his albums my parents were fond of listening to when I was a boy . I always thought that song [...] It seems the reality of work has replaced the comparatively dream-like state of being on holidays. Waxing philosophocal after a day at work seems infinitely harder. Ergo, the blog suffers! So, as I have not had as much time to think about the things going on around me I might use this blog as opportunity to [...] A friend once told me that I need to stop saying “sorry” all the time. ”Sorry, I am late.”, “Sorry – I was in your way.”, “Sorry for saying sorry too much.”. Well, I am a fan of the word sorry. I don’t mean the kind of “sorry” that binds itself to sarcasm either; you know, “Hey man, [...] Shakespeare was a pretty flash playwright and poet that graced the theatres of the 17th century with his particular skill.
