Bed seems to be a place of respite for me these days and as such it is where I had my latest revelation. I thought about the saying “Love is never having to say you’re sorry“. I always thought this meant that someone who truly loved you would not require an apology for wrongs done against them; actually I still think that.
What I now realise is that there is a flip side to the above statement - treating someone with love means that you would never have cause to apologise, because everything you did for them would have been done in love!
