I have thought long and hard about the question of homosexuality and for the most part have avoided it in discussions. I avoided it because I did not really understand how I felt about the subject. However, I read some information today on the Internet about a Christian church movement in the town that [...] In Philip Yancey’s book The Jesus I Never Knew he discusses the Ascension of Christ. Philip notes that this event inspired the coining of the latin phrase - deus absconditus (hidden, or concealed, god). What excited me most about Philip’s explorations of this historically significant event was the [seemingly, with hindsight] obvious conclusion he arrived at; God [...] Doubt is to faith what fear is to bravery. Each of the former is an elementary ingredient of the latter. As a kid I was a great fan of Christmas carols (I still am). In particular was this one record (yes kids – a record) the cover of which I have been able to find and show here thanks to the wonders of the Internet.
