I am sorely tempted to add a sub-heading to this post that reads “…who cares?” In the last few weeks, whilst doing some research on the Net, I have come across an incredible number of submissions from people claiming to be Christians, arguing over their Christianity with [apparent] non believers, and even with other Christians. This behaviour [...] The more I think about a life led by belief in an invisible God, the more ridiculous the whole concept seems. Many people have reportedly staked their lives for God, martyrs for a cause built upon a distinct lack of concrete, if not at least credible, evidence. This is not exclusive to followers of God [...] I have thought long and hard about the question of homosexuality and for the most part have avoided it in discussions. I avoided it because I did not really understand how I felt about the subject. However, I read some information today on the Internet about a Christian church movement in the town that [...] As a kid I was a great fan of Christmas carols (I still am). In particular was this one record (yes kids – a record) the cover of which I have been able to find and show here thanks to the wonders of the Internet. Mostly, Christmas carols were just little ditties that I listened [...] As unfortunate as it seems, and in much the same way as there is no sacrifice for deliberate sin1, there is also no forgiveness for those who do not offer it to others themselves2.
